January Modular Home of the Month
Our featured home of the month, located in Mahopac, NY, is more than just a house; it’s a practical and purposeful space designed for multi-generational living. The ranch-style home is built on a property that also accommodates a larger home. The homeowners wanted to have their grandmother close by but were able to have her own living space.
The choice of ranch-style architecture, known for its single-story layout, was intentional. The goal was to create a home where one could comfortably age in place while maintaining a design that fits seamlessly into its surroundings. The one-floor layout is a practical decision, eliminating the need for stairs and ensuring easy accessibility throughout the entire home.
Inside, the home focuses on a balance between practicality and aesthetics. A fresh white interior and bright wood floors create a modern feel yet accommodate warm wooden furniture and a traditional style.
Wide doorways, open spaces, and carefully selected fixtures contribute to a functional and comfortable living environment. The bedroom, living area, and kitchen are designed for easy navigation and convenience.
Our featured ranch-style home is a testament to practical living and thoughtful design. It goes beyond being a mere dwelling; it’s a space that accommodates the evolving needs of different generations.
